CABLING & BRACING SERVICE

There are two types of support cabling, Dynamic & Static. Dynamic cabling consists of a heavy load bearing fabric sling with end loops connecting the two limbs together. This system is most often used to add stability to small-medium limbs. Dynamic cabling allows some movement (dynamic) due to the elasticity of the fabric. Static cabling consists of either a steel braided cable, or a stainless steel rod drilled through the two limbs and fixed with terminal ends. This system is most often used to add stability to medium – large limbs. This system does not allow any movement (static) due to the rigidity of the steel.
